Joon: They used to be fat and juicy and now they're twisted. They had their lives stolen. Well, they taste sweet, but really they're just humiliated grapes. I can't say I am a big supporter of the raisin council.
Sam: Did you see those, those raisins on TV? The ones that sing and dance and stuff?
Joon: They scare me.
Sam: Yeah, me too.
Joon: It's sick. The commercial people they make them sing and dance so people will eat them.
Sam: It's a shame about raisins.

Love is...when two people love one another and fight to stay together, despite everyone telling them they should not and cannot be together.

Love is...what?

I felt as if this is more than long overdue; an explanation of this blog and why I'm doing it. I know some of you may be wondering a few things. Why am I writing this? Does she mean mushy, "I'm in love with you" kind of love, or does she mean all sorts of love? Why would I care what she thinks "love" means?

One of my best friends started a blog where she posts daily about what she thinks "love" means to her and her hope was that people would start to follow suit and write about what their meaning of love is. I loved the idea and decided to follow suit. I'm writing this blog because sometimes it's really nice to put your internal thoughts into clear and concise words. It somehow gives those internal thoughts that much more meaning to you and allows you to express yourself in a unique way. My "Love is..." blog is not just about romantic love, so please keep that in mind if I have the pleasure of you reading it on a regular basis or less than a regular basis.

In doing this blog, I hope it gets people to think about what love means to them and leads to them wanting to surround themselves with that kind of love and striving to be more happy, cause all that matters is to love and be loved. Feel free to leave comments and maybe think about starting your own. If blogging is not your thing, then I hope to give you some food for thought each day.
